Materials into Art
Most often my direction comes from the materials that I have chosen to build my image. Transforming the materials into the vision, inspired by my experiences and reference images, requires plenty of meditation. Before I even start with a physical attempt my mind is working on the story. In addition to material selection, there are hours of time spent researching and reading the subject of my creation.
